Streamlining Our Work From Home Policy for Greater Efficiency 2024
Dear Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
Dear Team,\
\
I hope this message finds you well.\
\
Our Work From Home (WFH) policy was a key part of our 2023 strategy to boost productivity and staff wellbeing. However, it’s become clear that the flexibility has led to some delays, with tasks being postponed because “so and so is working from home today; let’s wait till tomorrow.” And so, to streamline our processes and eliminate such delays, we’re evolving our WFH policy.\
\
Effective immediately, we’re adopting a task-oriented approach to working from home. Fixed WFH days will no longer be automatically granted. Instead, if you have specific tasks that would benefit from uninterrupted focus at home—such as month-end billing or catching-up after working an weekend expo event—you’re encouraged to discuss this with your line manager. You can request to work from home for 1, 2, or even 3 days as needed, ensuring our work remains focused and productivity high.\
\
Last year presented some major challenges, and we didn’t meet our targets in any country. However, there’s a positive shift happening, and with everyone’s dedication, we can reach our 2024 goals.\
\
Should you have any questions about this updated policy, feel free to reach out to your manager or myself. I’m excited to share more about our direction for 2024 at our upcoming town hall meeting after CNY.\
\
Thank you for your dedication and adaptability. Together, we’ll make this year successful.\
\
Best regards,\
\
Alex
