Put Items on Sale (Manual)

In ops.babycentral.co/panel:

Go to Catalog->Products

Search for the products you want to put on sale (see separate SOP on how to do this)

Make sure to click the currency that you want to work in

If a product is on sale, it will show up in red with the sale price

If you want to see the details of the sale, you can click on the Edit button for that item (under “Action” column to see more information)

In the example below, Singapore has no Start or End Date for the sale because it is permanently on sale

To put an item on sale:

From the product listing page, click the checkbox next to the items you want to put on sale

Then click the orange “Specials” box

This will show a popup box like this:

Select the countries that you want to add the discount for and click the blue “+” button

Here enter

the discount amount (e.g. for 15% off, please enter 15)
The start date (this is an inclusive date)
The end date (this is an inclusive date)

If you want the special offer to not have an end date, just enter “0000-00–00” as the start/end dates

Please note:

adding discount information to an item that is already on sale will remove the old discount and replace it with your new discount
The update to Shopify with the discounted prices will only happen overnight when the overnight feed is run.  There is currently a project to make the update to Shopify real time, however, this is still work in progress (i.e. at the moment, if you update discounts in ops.babycentral.co today, the discount will only appear in Shopify tomorrow)\
