A male employee is entitled to 7 consecutive calendar days of paternity leave for each confinement of his spouse.

Eligibility:

1.  Full-time permanent employee
2. is lawfully the father of a new-born child or a father-to-be
3. has been employed for a continuous period of at least 3 months before the birth of child
4. has notified his supervisor and HR of his intention of taking paternity leave at least 3 months before the expected date of delivery of the child

Procedures:

1. submit the leave application form at least 14 days in advance
2. provide the birth certificate of the child
