How to convert store credit to refund

The following describes how to convert store credit that was given to a customer as a refund into an actual refund.

Please note:

It is not possible to convert store credit received in any other way into a refund (i.e. we can only refund store credit given for cancelled/returned items)
This means that when giving store credit for refunds/cancellations, it is quite important to make sure you are giving the correct amount

In Opencart, go to Sales -> Customers

Find the customer who has requested the conversion

Click on Edit

Click on "Store Credit" tab

You will see here the list of store credit allocated to the customer. If any entry is eligible to be converted into a refund, it will show a button next to it to do this.

To make the conversion, just press the button
