How to Allow Access to a Netsuite Report

By default, reports are only accessible to the individual who has created them. Although it can be set to Public and be accessed by anyone in the Netsuite account of the company, you can modify it and select a targeted Audience who will have access to the report.

1. When a report is already existing, Open the report by looking for it through the search bar or by going to the Report section on the menu.
2. Once the report is Open, Click on the Customize button at the bottom part of the page.

3. Click on More Options

4. Scroll down to the middle part of the page where you will see Audience

5. For assurance, update both Audience and Access. Select individual names or group names to give others access to your custom report. Your selection will over-ride the standard, role-based permission associated with the target – please exercise caution in enabling access. If you select both a role and a department, the user must be assigned the role and be a member of the selected department to access this report. If you select a group, employee and/or partner, the user must be a member of the group or be the employee selected or be the partner selected to access this report.
