Fixed Amount Off the Entire Order

1. Log in to your Shopify Plus admin.

2. Navigate to Discounts

In your Shopify admin panel, go to the "Discounts" section. You can find this under the "Marketing" tab.

3. Create Discount

Click on the "Create discount" button.

4. Choose Discount Type

Select "Fixed Amount Discount" as the discount type.

5. Set Discount Details:

A. Input the Title of the Promo

Enter a name for your discount to help you identify it. ex. "May 10% off Promo"

a. Discount code

Discount codes require customers to manually input a code during the checkout process to apply the discount.

b. Automatic discount

This is used automatically at checkout, without the need for customers to input a code

B. Discount Value:

Specify the fixed amount discount you want to offer (e.g., 5%, 10%, 20%).

C. Minimum Purchase Requirements

Set any conditions for the discount.

c. Minimum quantity of items

D. Customer eligibility

Choose the target customer that can use the discount

E. Maximum discount uses

Enter the maximum number of times the discount can be used in total and if you want to limit the usage of the discount code.

F. Combinations

You can create combinations of discounts to offer more promotions to your customers.

G. Start Date and End Date:

Set the dates when the discount will be active. You can also leave it open-ended if you prefer.

6. Save your changes.

Review the details of your discount to ensure everything is set up correctly and saved.

7. Test the Discount

Before launching the discount, test it to ensure it's working. You can do this by placing a test order in your store and applying the discount at checkout.
