Changing Announcement Bars on Site

The Announcement Bar is an additional bar that is shown below the menu on the site

To change or add the Announcement Bar on the website:

In ops.babycentral.co/panel

Go to System => Marketing

Click on "Announcement Bars"Find the entry for the store you are looking for and click the edit icon

1\) Set the text to show in the bar

2\) Select the background and font colours

3\) Link: enter the slug of the page you want to direct people to when they click on the text (if no link, just leave blank)

4\) Set the status (Disabled = will not show)

To ensure your changes appear on all pages of the site, clear the site's cache by going to "ADMIN TOOLS" and clicking "Clear All Caches" (note that doing this considerably slows down the site's speed so please only do so sparingly..)
