Overview:



This document serves to elucidate the functionality of Boomi's stock synchronization and its associated properties. Its purpose is to provide a straightforward explanation of how the stock sync process operates, aiding all team members in understanding its mechanics and facilitating the investigation of any stock sync issues that may arise.

Within Boomi, we streamlined the procedure for synchronizing available stock between Netsuite and Shopify. We established a property that allows us to specify each market through its corresponding Savedsearch in Netsuite.

Process Property: “StockSync\NS\SavedSearchID”

In addition to the Saved Search IDs in Netsuite, we configured LocationIDs and Store Names to correspond with each market.

LocationIDs are store in Boomi set properties shape statically.

This information are set in Boomi and are vital part of this process. Boomi team has a separate document for each token Ids and being maintained and updated well.

Boomi Platform:



Branch 1: Retrieve the file from Netsuite and store it in the cache.

Branch 2: Query the available information in Shopify and initiate a bulk operation using the GraphQL API to adjust stock quantity sync.

Branch 3: Simply remove all cached files from Branch 1.

Issue: Stock synchronization for the New Zealand market is not functioning correctly.

First, examine the Inventory Item in Netsuite:

Verify the Quantity on Hand, Item Status, and other relevant details.
  On the search bar in Netsuite, Simple input the “SKU”, or any other Item details.

In Netsuite:



Check the Saved Search to ensure that the SKU is included in the list. If it's not there, notify the customer.

o   Use Saved search id/internal ID  to in filtering to the see the list of inventory item stored in the saved search.





Additionally, verify the inventory item status to confirm if it's active or inactive.



In cases where the inventory item is not active, it's crucial to confirm with the customer for further clarification
